Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Yifeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Rafting sold for HKD 35,400 (€ 3,790) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000. Admittedly, works by Wu Yifeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 250,000 (€ 25,430).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Yifeng erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Rafting für HKD 35.400 (€ 3.790) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Yifeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000 (€ 25.430).
