Upper estimate price exceeded by 77%
This artwork by Wu Yifeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Night Scenery sold for HKD 21,240 (€ 2,274) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Yifeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 250,000 (€ 25,430).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Yifeng erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Night Scenery für HKD 21.240 (€ 2.274) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Yifeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000 (€ 25.430).
