A top price for Wu Tao
This artwork by Wu Tao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape Album sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,847.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. This high result makes Landscape Album the most expensive artwork by Wu Tao that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Tao erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape Album für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.847,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Landscape Album zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Wu Tao, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
