This artwork by Wu Shixian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Sydney in April last year. In the Asian Art auction, the work Misty Landscape sold for AUD 1,599 (€ 1,329) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 800. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Shixian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2009 with an auction result of HKD 237,500 (€ 20,764).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Shixian erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Misty Landscape für AUD 1.599 (€ 1.329) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 800. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Shixian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 237.500 (€ 20.764).
