Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wu Shixian was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 13,000 - 23,000, the actual price achieved of HKD 15,340 (€ 1,741) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Shixian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2009 with an auction result of HKD 237,500 (€ 20,764).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wu Shixian kam im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 13.000 – 23.000 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 15.340 (€ 1.741) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Shixian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 237.500 (€ 20.764).
