A top price for Wu Shanming - as previously expected
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Yellow River Morning Song by Wu Shanming. The price achieved of CNY 566,400.00 (€ 81,908.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Yellow River Morning Song is the most expensive artwork by Wu Shanming that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow River Morning Song von Wu Shanming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 566.400,00 (€ 81.908,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Yellow River Morning Song das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Shanming, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
