Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III, which included the work Two Carps by Wu Qingxia. The price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 704.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Qingxia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leaping Carps in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 79,420.66).
