A top price for Wu Qiaoliu
The work Lotus in Summer by Wu Qiaoliu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Cologne in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,816.62). With this result, Lotus in Summer is even the most expensive work of art by Wu Qiaoliu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wu Qiaoliu
Die Arbeit Lotus in Summer von Wu Qiaoliu wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Köln versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.816,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Lotus in Summer sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Qiaoliu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
