A top price for Wu Huan - as previously expected
The work Two Cranes and Rock by Wu Huan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,485.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two Cranes and Rock is the most expensive artwork by Wu Huan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Two Cranes and Rock von Wu Huan kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.485,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Two Cranes and Rock das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Huan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
