A top price for Wu Fuzhi
This artwork by Wu Fuzhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Red Plum Blossoms sold for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,239.38) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. This high result makes Red Plum Blossoms the most expensive artwork by Wu Fuzhi that we have observed at auctions so far.
