Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Fuzhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Crane And Plum Blossoms sold for HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,470.53) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Fuzhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Plum Blossoms, which sold at auction in June 2015 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,239.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Fuzhi erzielte im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Crane And Plum Blossoms für HKD 70.800,00 (€ 7.470,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Fuzhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Plum Blossoms beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.239,38) versteigert wurde.
