A top price for Wu Dongfa
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape After Chen Chun by Wu Dongfa. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 113,400.00 (€ 12,559.97), 42% above the upper estimate. With this result, Landscape After Chen Chun is even the most expensive work of art by Wu Dongfa that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wu Dongfa
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Chen Chun von Wu Dongfa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 12.559,97) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Landscape After Chen Chun sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Dongfa, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
