Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Alpine Landscape Near Geneva With A View Of Les Voirons by Wolfgang-Adam Töpffer. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,844.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolfgang-Adam Töpffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Promenade de la Treille à Genève, um 1820 in March 2007 with an auction result of CHF 1,080,000.00 (€ 665,895.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alpine Landscape Near Geneva With A View Of Les Voirons von Wolfgang-Adam Töpffer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.844,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang-Adam Töpffer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Promenade de la Treille à Genève, um 1820 im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 1.080.000,00 (€ 665.895,02).
