Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Home Bay. by Woldemar Toppelius was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in October 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had set an estimate of EUR 1,500.00, but failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Woldemar Toppelius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Motif From Katajanokka Helsinki"., which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 3,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Home Bay. von Woldemar Toppelius im Oktober 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung jedoch nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.200,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Woldemar Toppelius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Motif From Katajanokka Helsinki". beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für EUR 3.400,00 versteigert wurde.
