Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Bukowski in Helsinki held the auction Autumn Classic Sale F169, which included the work A Ship. by Woldemar Toppelius. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Woldemar Toppelius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Motif From Katajanokka Helsinki"., which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 3,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Bukowski in Helsinki die Auktion Autumn Classic Sale F169 durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Ship. von Woldemar Toppelius zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Woldemar Toppelius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Motif From Katajanokka Helsinki". beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für EUR 3.400,00 versteigert wurde.
