In October 2007 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art, which included the work Passing by the Church by Wladislaw T. Chmielinski. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,503.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Wladislaw T.
