Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bretonnes Sur Les Quais by Władysław Ślewiński was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,120.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Władysław Ślewiński achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme aux cheveux roux in October this year with an auction result of EUR 207,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bretonnes Sur Les Quais von Władysław Ślewiński wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.120,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Władysław Ślewiński erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme aux cheveux roux im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 207.900,00.
