Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Polish cleopatra by Wladyslaw Czachorski was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2018. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,926.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wladyslaw Czachorski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Träumendes Mädchen in November 2020 with an auction result of EUR 212,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Polish cleopatra von Wladyslaw Czachorski wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.926,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wladyslaw Czachorski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Träumendes Mädchen im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 212.850,00.
