In August 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Pastoral landscape with cows by Winckworth Allan Gay. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,361.46), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Winckworth Allan Gay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Glades, Cohasset, which sold at auction in March 2004 for USD 8,962.50 (€ 7,291.33).

Im August 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pastoral landscape with cows von Winckworth Allan Gay zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.361,46) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Winckworth Allan Gay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Glades, Cohasset beobachtet, die im März 2004 für USD 8.962,50 (€ 7.291,33) versteigert wurde.
