This artwork by Wim Motz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. In the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction, the work Composition sold for EUR 3,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wim Motz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2004 for EUR 7,767.50.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wim Motz erzielte im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries wurde die Arbeit Composition für EUR 3.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wim Motz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2004 für EUR 7.767,50 versteigert wurde.
