Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit, which included the work Marble Floor #3 by Wim Delvoye. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wim Delvoye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flatbed Trailer Scale Model And Caterpillar 5C Scale Model in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 229,250.00 (€ 265,313.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marble Floor #3 von Wim Delvoye zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wim Delvoye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flatbed Trailer Scale Model And Caterpillar 5C Scale Model im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 229.250,00 (€ 265.313,28).
