In October 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction, which included the work La Ventana from Above by Wilson Hurley. The »bidding war« ended at USD 31,325.00 (€ 26,895.34), 57% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson Hurley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Ventana, New Mexico, which sold at auction in April 2019 for USD 87,575.00 (€ 78,184.98).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Ventana from Above von Wilson Hurley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 31.325,00 (€ 26.895,34) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilson Hurley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Ventana, New Mexico beobachtet, die im April 2019 für USD 87.575,00 (€ 78.184,98) versteigert wurde.
