Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX, which included the work A shepherd with his flock by a farm by Willem Steelink. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,820.00. Other works by Willem Steelink have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 3,600.00 in March 2007 for the work Sheep Going To The Stable.

Im September 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX durch, in der auch die Arbeit A shepherd with his flock by a farm von Willem Steelink zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.820,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Willem Steelink haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.600,00 im März 2007 für die Arbeit Sheep Going To The Stable beobachtet.
