Die Arbeit Bord de mer von Willy Eisenschitz kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.440,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willy Eisenschitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German Harvest im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 66.000,00.
