The work Wild Flowers by William F. Hardy was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in February 2002. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 446.50 (€ 728.64), 49% above the upper estimate. With this result, Wild Flowers is even the most expensive work of art by William F. Hardy that we have observed at auctions so far.
