Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Small Female Figure by William Turnbull was auctioned at Christies in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Turnbull have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotus Totem in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 701,000.00 (€ 988,401.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Small Female Figure von William Turnbull kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Turnbull auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotus Totem im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 701.000,00 (€ 988.401,20).
