Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paddle Venus 5 by William Turnbull was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 96,158.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Turnbull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotus Totem in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 701,000.00 (€ 988,401.20).
