Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Metamorphosis 2 by William Turnbull was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 58,998.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Turnbull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotus Totem in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 701,000.00 (€ 988,401.20).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 58.998,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
