Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Ship That Sailed To Mars. George G. Harrap, 1923 by William Mitcheson Timlin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 850.00 (€ 1,048.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Mitcheson Timlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Princess' Chamber in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,181.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Ship That Sailed To Mars.
