A top price for William Mitcheson Timlin - as previously expected
The work The Princess' Chamber by William Mitcheson Timlin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,181.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Princess' Chamber is the most expensive artwork by William Mitcheson Timlin that we have observed at auctions so far.
