Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Landscape with trees by William Tillyer was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in March 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,757.85), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Tillyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blackbird in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47).

Die Arbeit Landscape with trees von William Tillyer wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.757,85) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Tillyer erzielen.
