This artwork by William Tillyer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2015. In the Modern British & Irish Art auction, the work Landscape with Mountains; and Untitled sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,670.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Tillyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blackbird in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von William Tillyer erzielte im Juli 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Landscape with Mountains; and Untitled für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.670,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Tillyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blackbird im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 66.369,47).
