The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 348.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Thomas Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British Snow Shadows in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,761.59).
