In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Paradise by William Strang. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,365.00 (€ 12,039.54), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Strang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl reading. The Storyteller, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,997.77).

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paradise von William Strang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.365,00 (€ 12.039,54) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von William Strang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl reading. The Storyteller beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.997,77) versteigert wurde.
