Despite a disappointment, a good price for William Stewart
In October 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work At the spinning wheel by William Stewart for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,151.49). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, At the spinning wheel is the most expensive artwork by William Stewart that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Oktober 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit At the spinning wheel von William Stewart für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.151,49) erwerben.
