Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Model for a mermaid by William Russell Flint was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,483.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Russell Flint achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Judgement of Paris in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 407,250.00 (€ 481,321.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Model for a mermaid von William Russell Flint wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.483,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
