Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Balanced baskets by William Russell Flint for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,224.86). This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Russell Flint achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Judgement of Paris in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 407,250.00 (€ 481,321.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Balanced baskets von William Russell Flint für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.224,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Russell Flint erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Judgement of Paris im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 407.250,00 (€ 481.321,84).
