Auction result fails to reach estimate
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Interior from the artist's studio by William Rosenberg for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.67). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Rosenberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior from the artist's studio, which sold at auction in April this year for DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interior from the artist's studio von William Rosenberg für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von William Rosenberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interior from the artist's studio beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,26) versteigert wurde.
