In November 2016 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work The Narrowing Circle by William Robinson Leigh. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 727,500.00 (€ 687,748.16). With this result, The Narrowing Circle is even the most expensive work of art by William Robinson Leigh that we have observed at auctions so far.
