Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Landscape with barn in the distance by William Ritschel. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,354.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Ritschel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pilot on Board in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 137,575.00 (€ 122,823.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape with barn in the distance von William Ritschel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.354,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Ritschel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pilot on Board im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.575,00 (€ 122.823,86).
