The price achieved of GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,744.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The pass at Glencoe is the most expensive artwork by William Perring Hollyer that we have observed at auctions so far.
