Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a lady, three-quarter length, seated, in a blue dress with a patterned shawl and parasol, a floral brooch on her chest, in a landscape by William Mulready was sold in the Irish and 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2004. The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,585.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Mulready achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boys Fishing in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,619.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, three-quarter length, seated, in a blue dress with a patterned shawl and parasol, a floral brooch on her chest, in a landscape von William Mulready wurde im Mai 2004 in der Auktion Irish and 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert.
