A top price for William Mulready - as previously expected
The work Boys Fishing by William Mulready was sold in the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2014. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,619.95) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Boys Fishing is the most expensive artwork by William Mulready that we have observed at auctions so far.
