The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,739.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Glengariff From The Kenmare Road, Evening is the most expensive artwork by William McEvoy that we have observed at auctions so far.
