It achieved a price of GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,262.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Lionel Wyllie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landing Fish, Ambleteuse in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 70,883.21).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.083,75 (€ 1.262,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Lionel Wyllie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landing Fish, Ambleteuse im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 70.883,21).
