In the Master Paintings and Drawings auction, the work View of Broad Oak Printworks, near Accrington, Lancashire, with Broad Oak House beyond changed hands for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,364.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Linton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A City Of Ancient Greece in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 26,226.57).
