Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape with Trees 14 x 20 in. framed 18 1/2 x 24 1/2 in. by William Keith was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,056.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Keith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yosemite Valley in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
