Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Emerald Pool, New Hampshire by William Keith was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,175.53). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Keith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yosemite Valley in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 581,305.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Emerald Pool, New Hampshire von William Keith kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.375,00 (€ 6.175,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Keith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yosemite Valley im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 581.305,82).
