Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Jurian Kaula could be acquired at Bonhams in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Eight Prepatory Sketches of Landscapes changed hands for USD 191.25 (€ 179.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Jurian Kaula achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Millstream, Ipswich, New Hampshire in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 38,400.00 (€ 30,267.20).

In der Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit Eight Prepatory Sketches of Landscapes für USD 191,25 (€ 179,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Jurian Kaula erzielen.
