In April 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper, which included the work A Welsh mountain stream by William Hull. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 918.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Welsh mountain stream is the most expensive artwork by William Hull that we have observed at auctions so far.
